I saw this really awesome post by my friend Xandra where she talks about what she does when she doesn’t want to do anything. She has a really lovely idea of creating an “In Case of Emergency” list. I like this idea because it gives me a quick and easy reference guide of things I can do when I’m feeling a bit tired, down, or just unmotivated to start my day.
After reading her list, I thought it might be fun to give writing my own list a little try.
- Journal
- Drink Tea
- Listen to Music
- Dance Around
- Go Outside & Get Fresh Air
- Take a Walk & Explore My Surroundings
- Burn Incense
- Take a Nap
- Play with my little feline friend
I thought this was a fun little exercise and something good to refer back to when the day to day is getting a bit too challenging.
