I came across these two interesting links over the past few weeks that I’d like to share with you.
The first is from Sas Pethrick, and an absolutely lovely post about how the natural response to a problem for some is to try to “fix it.” In this post Sas talks about how instead of trying to fix a problem, its often important to stay with it and work through the discomfort.
stop fixing: why it’s necessary to stay in the muck
The second is an in-depth look into self-care and how it’s not always about doing things that are pleasing to you. Sometimes self-care is eating a salad versus shoving your face with pizza and cupcakes (my words, not theirs). The article is written for people experiencing depression, but I believe it’s valuable read regardless of what you’re going through.
What nobody tells you about Self-Care
I hope you enjoy the links!
